Death Over Drafts

Join us for a collaborative gathering to talk about all things life and death - over a beer, kombucha or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage.

If you have questions about death, dying, grief, planning ahead or end-of-life options but aren’t sure who to talk to, we’ve got you. Professionals from OC Deathworkers, Meadow Memorials, Autonomy Health and The Death Network will be available to chat. More than that, you’ll find a group of people willing to talk about this taboo subject.

No presentations. No pressure, Just honest conversations with people who believe death deserves honest dialogue.

Grab a drink and join us - First round is on Meadow Memorials, cheers!! RSVPs requested: MeetUp or EventBrite

DEATH CAFE

Join us on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 7pm

“Our goal is to give people a place where it’s okay to talk about death. It’s healthy and helpful to be able to discuss the emotional, spiritual and practical questions around death. It’s a big topic. At a Death Café, we don’t change the subject; we look it in the eye and ask it to sit down for a cup of tea.

Join us for another night of deep, comical, enlightening, educational, heartbreaking, uplifting discussion about the end of life.

There’s so much to talk about when we talk about death. Curiosity replaces fear when we acquire death literacy.

Join us on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 7 PM, Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 Saint Ann’s Dr., Laguna Beach. Next one: Thursday, April 16. We offer great snacks.
